Abstract

The phenomenon of (emotional aesthetic pleasure) in al-Rafi‘i’s masterpiece (Awraq Al-Ward) constitutes a distinctive artistic feature. This literary prose work is grounded in an affective structure in which emotion is transformed into a discursive mechanism that generates aesthetic pleasure and guides the reader’s response. The study adopts a descriptive analytical approach to identify the most prominent of these techniques, including the inspiring idea, suggestive language, the reflective epistolary style, imagistic condensation, musicality based on emotionally charged sound structures, and affective argumentation that builds empathy and reinforces the value of love as a noble human experience.The study concludes with several key findings. Al-Rafi‘i’s celebration of emotion in both his literary and critical writings reflects his firm belief in its role as a fundamental component of the literary work. Emotion maintains a close relationship with all elements shaping the thematic and artistic structure of the text. Furthermore, (emotional aesthetic pleasure) in (Awraq Al-Ward) is founded on a balance between pleasure as aesthetic delight and persuasion as emotional and cognitive guidance. This balance accounts for the enduring influence of this literary work on Arab literary taste and explains the diversity of its analytical possibilities, confirming its relevance within contemporary Arabic literary criticism.

الملخص

شكلت ظاهرة (الإمتاع العاطفي) في رائعة الأديب الرافعي (أوراق الورد) ملمحًا فنيًّا لافتًا، حيث تأسس هذا المنجز النثريّ الأدبيّ على بنية وجدانية تحولت فيه العاطفة إلى آلية خطابية تُنتج المتعة الجمالية، وتسهم في توجيه الاستجابة القرائية، واعتمدت الدراسة مقاربةً وصفية تحليلية رصدت من خلالها أبرز هذه التقنيات، مثل: الفكرة الملهمة، واللغة الإيحائية، والأسلوب الرسائلي التأملي، والتكثيف التصويري، والموسيقا ذات البنى الصوتية الشعورية، والحجاج الوجداني الذي يبني التعاطف، ويعزز قيمة الحب بوصفه تجربة إنسانية سامية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج، أهمها: احتفاء الرافعي بالعاطفة في أدبه ونقده، واعتداده بمكانتها بوصفها مكونًا جوهريًّا في العمل الأدبي، مبرزًا علاقتها الحميمية بجميع العناصر التي تشكل البناء الموضوعي والفني للنص الأدبي، وأن (الإمتاع العاطفي) في (أوراق الورد) تأسّس على توازنٍ بين الإمتاع بوصفه لذةً جمالية، والإقناع بوصفه توجيهًا وجدانيًا ومعرفيًا، وهو ما يفسّر استدامة أثر هذا المنجز الأدبي الفريد في الذائقة العربية، وتعدد إمكاناته التحليلية في الدراسات النقدية الحديثة، كما تبين أن ظاهرة (الإمتاع العاطفي) في رسائل الرافعي لم تكن لغاية جمالية وحسب، بل لتقديم رسالة تواصلية ثقافية وأخلاقية تُعيد بناء مفهوم الحب بوصفه قيمةً إنسانية سامية.
