Proposed standard for measuring productive efficiency in Saudi universities

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the criteria and indicators for measuring productive efficiency in Saudi universities from the perspective of the study sample experts; and to reveal the validity and reliability of the proposed criteria for measuring productive efficiency in Saudi universities. The researcher followed the expert survey method, relying on a purposive sample. The researcher obtained the consent of 17 of them to continue and participate in the application as the research community and sample. The researcher applied the questionnaire research tool with the aim of arriving at a proposed criterion for measuring productive efficiency in Saudi universities. The researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: Six criteria had a mean of 3.0, a standard deviation of 0.0, and an approval rate of 100.0. These are, in order: the educational criterion, the scientific criterion, the administrative criterion, the financial criterion, the social criterion, and the innovation criterion. Only one criterion, the digital transformation criterion, came in sixth place with a mean of 2.99, a standard deviation of 0.03, and an agreement rate of 99.7%. The educational criterion includes 10 indicators, the scientific criterion includes 11 indicators, the administrative criterion includes 10 indicators, the financial criterion includes 9 indicators, the social criterion includes 5 indicators, and the innovation criterion includes 3 indicators.

الملخص

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد معايير ومؤشرات قياس الكفاءة الإنتاجية في الجامعات السعودية من وجهة نظر خبراء عينة الدراسة؛ والكشف عن دلالات صدق وثبات المعيار المقترح لقياس الكفاءة الإنتاجية في الجامعات السعودية الدراسة،اتبعت الباحثة أسلوب مسح الخبراء، تم الاعتماد على عينة قصدية، حصلت الباحثة على موافقة (17) منهم للاستمرار والمشاركة في التطبيق باعتبارهم مجتمع وعينة البحث ، وطبقت أداة البحث الاستبانة بهدف الوصول الى معيار مقترح لقياس الكفاءة الإنتاجية في الجامعات السعودية وقد توصلت الباحثة للعديد من النتائج أهمها: أن ستة معايير جاءت بمتوسط حسابي (3.0) وبانحراف معياري (0.0) وبنسبة موافقة (100.0) وهي على التوالي: المعيار التعليمي، المعيار العلمي، المعيار الإداري ، المعيار المالي، المعيار المجتمعي و المعيار لابتكاري، في حين يأتي معيار واحد فقط وهو: معيار التحول الرقمي بالمرتبة السادس بمتوسط حسابي (2.99) وبانحراف معياري (0.03) وبنسبة موافقة (99.7%).تضمن المعيار التعليمي (10) مؤشرات والمعيار العلمي (11) مؤشر المعيار الإداري (10) مؤشرات والمعيار المالي (9)مؤشرات المعيار المجتمعي(5) مؤشرات والمعيار الابتكاري (3) مؤشرات.
