Abstract

This research aims to reveal the manifestations of logic in Arabic proverbs, as short, condensed texts that express the Arab mind's experience in deconstructing the contents of Arabic proverbs and maxims in light of the concepts of ancient logic and analyzing them as anthropological tools for establishing cultural truths that reflect the structure of collective Arab consciousness. The research dealt with the logical structure in proverbs in terms of the relationship between premise and conclusion, signifier and signified, and induction and deduction. This demonstrates that the Arabic proverb was not merely a literary or social expression, but rather a rational inference tool that established authentic logical thought in Arab culture. The study concluded that proverbs represent a pattern of systematic thinking based on practical reason and formal empirical proof, and that they contributed to consolidating the values of logic and analogy in the collective consciousness to achieve persuasion.

الملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تجليات المنطق في الأمثال العربية، بوصفها نصوصاً قصيرة مكثفة تعبّر عن خبرة العقل العربي في تفكيك مضامين الأمثال والحكم العربية في ضوء مفاهيم المنطق القديم، وتحليلها بوصفها أدوات أنثروبولوجية لتثبيت حقائق ثقافية تعكس بنية الوعي العربي الجمعي. وقد تناولت الدراسة البنية المنطقية الكامنة في الأمثال من حيث العلاقة بين المقدمة والنتيجة، والدال والمدلول، والاستقراء والاستنباط، مما يبرهن على أن المثل العربي لم يكن مجرد تعبير أدبي أو اجتماعي، بل كان أداة استدلال عقلية تؤسس لفكر منطقي أصيل في الثقافة العربية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن الأمثال تمثل نمطا من التفكير المنهجي، يقوم على العقل العملي والبرهان التجريبي الصوري، وأنها أسهمت في ترسيخ قيم المنطق والقياس في الوعي الجمعي للوصول إلى الإقناع.
